Advent blog-a-long #3

Bit late tonight in blogging as I wanted to show off our Christmas lights! I'm not one for lots of flashy stuff, very low key here, but it still makes me smile!

The tree is also all up, though looking quite sparse. I forgot what it's like to have a kitten in the house at Christmas time! In the first hour we already had a bauble casualty, so all the really precious (or really breakable) ones have come off.

Joining in with Vic too for my place and yours.

excuse the slightly dodgy photos, there were taken with my phone.

we used to have to tie the tree to the wall since the kitties liked to scale the trunk (way past kittenhood!). Your tree looks lovely =)

Very festive Sel, I haven't a single Chrissie light up, don't think I will either, call me Scrooge!

Thanks for joining in with the my last meme of the year!

Yes, cats and two year olds - the nemeses of Christmas trees everywhere! We left our cats with my parents while we're over here so we have a poinsettia plant for the first time ever. I don't have to worry about the cats eating it. (And I keep it out of the 2 yr old's reach!).
Loving your French Christmas! Having trouble avoiding one over here ;)

Your lights are so pretty. We had lights for a couple of years but I quickly got over putting them up and taking them down again.

Your outside lights are very pretty. I'm trying to decide whether I can be assed putting ours up this year (if they still work!)

Lol at the kitten. No breakables on my tree either! (I think we have already broken them all).
