A photo a day

Oops! Missed a day.

I work in a photo lab and yesterday took some of my old negatives in to put onto c.d. This photo was taken almost 12 years ago with my 35mm slr, but thought I would post it anyway. I took a whole series of photos of my then baby with slide film, then put the slide film through C41 (colour process) It gives off eerie colours and fabulous grainy texture. I had wedding photos done this way too. I just love this photo. It makes me smile.

Thanks Megan, I'm hoping to rediscover my passion for photography this month, it's been a long time between drinks.

What an absolutely stunning photo. The last lot of slide film I took was a disaster - perhaps if I'd put it through the C41 the shots would have been at least remotely interesting. Can't wait to see more of your photos.

Love the photo and the colour and graniness. Working in a photo lab sounds interesting. But I guess it puts you off your own photography? I worked in jewellery and then never had time to make my own.
