Blogtoberfest Day 5
Thought I would join in with Clare's Tuesday Treasures. I need to fill up these blogtoberfest days somehow! My treasures today are just a small part of my collection of comports. I really didn't realise how many I actually had until I was looking around the house to grab them for this photo. Believe me, this is a small selection of them! They all started with the gorgeous larger one in the foreground there. It was a 21st birthday present from my great-aunt and I instantly fell in love with them. I have them in glass and I have them in silver plated. The silver filigree one in the back was a wedding present from one of my besties from high school whose mother owned a secondhand store. Probably my favourite wedding present! I am always on the look out for an amethyst one, quite hard to come by and when you do, they are out of my budget!

Im a new follower. Just love these comports. Ive just started to collect these. I have also made some up using a glass dish and candlestick glued together!! WOrks a treat!!!

Your comports look so elegant grouped together. I'm always looking for green ones, but they too are rare and expensive.
