Blogtoberfest day 15: my creative space...

Oh, there are so many things I should be doing. Why do I go to the library at these times? Am I crazy?! Instead of doing those things I should be doing (like the pile of chenille in the right side of the picture there, that should in fact be a bunny. A bunny, mind you, that should be going to Handmade Heaven tomorrow.) I have been lounging around in my free time from the day job this week reading craft books and Sookie Stackhouse novels. (tragic, I know!)

Once I get the five or so things out of the way that need to be done, I hope to make this very cool peg bag. Though, as much as I love laundry, I don't think I could bear to take that outside and put pegs in it.

Check out the more creative peeps over at Kirsty's.

Make sure to pop back in next Monday when I reveal my Blogtoberfest giveaway! Hopefully all you lovers of vintage textiles should like it!

It is so gorgeous I think you should shuffle the list around and make it first. Now you've seen it how could you go without it?

Oh Selina, the exasperation of having too much inspiration and not enough hours in the day to act on it! I just love visiting your creative space. Gorgeous stuff.....my mind is ticking.....
Have a happy Thursday, whatever you decide to do :) Anita. xxx

Sookie Stackhouse is the main reason why I've had a 2 month hiatus from anything creative, so I completely understand. I love hearing about peoples creative wish lists, I look forward to seeing your peg bag.

The peg bag is very nice - might need to make 2 - one for inside and one for outside!!

What a lovely peg bag, it would have to make hanging out washing nicer, wouldn't it?

Lounging should always take preference over work! Although my plan has flaws when it comes to paying bills and eating!! While that peg bag is almost too cute to go outside, you deserve to have beuatiful things around you while you are doing something you love (even if it is laundry!!!).

That is one fabulous peg bag! Can't wait to see yours all made... (no pressure!) Down time is actually very important. You were simply smart enough to follow whatever your mind/body were telling you! :) K

That pegbag looks very cute indeed. And yes, you should hang it outside, to be used and get wet. I recently decided to stop saving beautiful things, being afraid to ruin them. No, I am using them. It's so much more fun. Slowly I am making more and more and thus surround myself with lovely things. And I use them all, enjoying them to the fullest!

Hope you get it all finished.. But nothing tragic about reading up on Sookie Stackhouse. In fact I need to get started with my reading again since the season is over :P

That bag looks wayyyy cute!

Ah those beautiful books are such a trap! But how lovely to while away time looking and dreaming! No actually they should shut down all libraries and book shops, and magazines should be banned. AS IF! LOL
