Maxi immortalised

IMGP1969

Those of you who have been reading my little blog for awhile may remember last year when I lost my little man, Maxi. It's been really tough without him and I have wanted for quite some time a painted piece of him. I've got a heap of photos (of course) but wanted something just that little bit more special. Enter a very talented lady that volunteers along with my Mum at Wolston House. She specialises in animal portraits and was more than happy to have a go at painting my little Maxi. And what a marvellous job she has done. It brought me to tears.

Oh, that's adorable Selina. It's nice to have something special like this I think. What a lovely lady she must be too.

Oh Selina, how beautiful!! Joy, from Joypatch, made me a cushion with a beautiful printed fabric photo of my border collie Jake, when he passed away. She did it out of the goodness of her heart, I had no idea it was coming, and it was the most amazing thing to receive. So I kind of know how you must have felt to get this wonderful portrait of Maxi. We love our animals dearly, and it is so very hard when they pass away, and it continues to be for some time afterward. Big Hugs!!!
