my creative space...

In a last minute decision to make something for Miss 12 (13-tomorrow), I whipped up some gloves/wrist warmer things. She had been eyeing off mine for a while so with the sleeves of a felted jumper and about 5 minutes of my time she has something to open tomorrow! I'm taking her on a 3 hour trail ride tomorrow through the Gold Coast hinterland and you can't exactly wrap a horse now can you, and every 13 year old needs to open a pressie on her birthday.

And how hard is it to take a photo of your own hand!!

Head over to Kirsty's for all the creative goss.

They look so warm and toasty and I just love the colours. Really beautiful and oh so practical. Enjoy the trail ride - I'm sure that will be an amazing experience.

What a cool mum you are - a trail ride is the perfect pressie!

I love the projects you can just "whip up"! Very clever of you and it's always nice to have something to unwrap on the day!

Hope the weather holds for you!
(and we have a horse that you can practice wrapping on...she is not much use for anything else!)
Happy trails to you and your soon to be teenager......

Brilliant idea with the fingerless gloves Selina, they look fantastic. Enjoy yourselves tomorrow and I hope the weather is kind to you. That's a great idea for a birthday present.

Fabulous!! I've seen a few people make these and I think I may need some :) Have a great time tomorrow. You know i grew up in the country and have never even sat on a horse before! I'm actually a little scared of them because they are so huge!
