....I am obsessed with all things Paris. In particular finding my way around the place. I am by nature not a very organised person, but when it comes to being in unfamiliar territory, I prefer to be well prepared. I have been planning routes and google mapping directions like crazy! With only 2 weeks until my trip, I hope I don't send myself insane!

You know, getting unexpectedly lost could turn out better than you think; a little bakery discovered or an independent gallery perhaps? Maybe just put the map away for one day...? How exciting!!

How exciting. I admit I am the same, I had a zillion maps when I went there last. I didn't get lost so all was well.
I found if I at least tried to say a couple of words in French, most people were very helpful too.
I'm so excited for you! I went to Paris a couple years ago and absolutely loved it.
Definitely plan with your maps so you can see the things that are most important to you but frankly my favorite part was *walking to* all the things I wanted to see. It's such a beautiful city and just strolling in the direction I wanted to go was always wonderful.
Also, I went in mid-March and the weather was beautiful. I'm sure you can check all this out but I was enchanted by the fact that I could wear a few cute layers and be very comfortable.
Just don't forget to be adventurous while you are there and go off course every once in a while :)
