my creative space...

I'm excited by my creative space this week. The big kid in me finally went and bought a Kinder Girl pattern from Jodie. I've been gathering all the little bits and pieces I need.

I've cleared the decks and am hoping when Miss 12 gets dropped off at horse camp on the weekend I can get stuck into this. I've got nothing else on all week, except one day of work, and I'm really looking forward to the nothingness of it!

The first one I make is going to be in calico. Jodie suggests doctors flannel, which is on the way as I speak (type) but I was worried I would ruin it. So hopefully this one still turns out good, and then she can head off for Operation Christmas Child.

Miss 12 has been a little obsessed with the sock dolls from last week, and her sewing skills have improved. This is a coffee monster, apparently.

And one more thing, check out the fab giveaway at Retromummy, but don't enter or anything, just have a look, 'cause this one is all mine!

The Kinder Girls (and boys) are gorgeous. I am sure you'll love making them and wont have any hassles Selina. My Mum actuall made her real dolls out of calico and they look great.

How cool is Miss 12's coffee monster! Am I right to assume that is coffee around the mouth...? She wasn't modelling it on someone close to her was she..???!!!
