Coffee Monster
Ahem. It has been "suggested" by a fellow blogger, who shall remain nameless, that the inspiration for my daughter's coffee monster from the previous post, may in fact be me.
Now, I would like to state for the record, that that is simply unfounded. I do not have a coffee obsession. I do not stumble out of bed in the mornings and head straight for the coffee machine. I do not have an unnatural attraction to the older Italian gentleman who makes my tall, flat white, 2.5 sugars for me when I am at work. I do not purchase my coffee beans from this same coffee shop every week and try desperately with my home espresso machine to replicate said flat white. I have not lain awake for the last few nights thinking of the photos I will take of every coffee I consume while in France next year, to then come home and make up a special photo book of all the coffees, some in black and white, some sepia toned, oh, oh and some with the really cool special effect I have on my new camera that makes your shot look like a pastel drawing, yeah that would look cool.........
No, nameless blogger, I do not have a coffee obsession. I am not a monster.

This nameless blogger was just asking the question.... wondering how a 12 year old had the wisdom to put "coffee" and "monster" together!
As for you - the one without the coffee obsession - to you I say "if the coffee mug fits, hold it"!
You're going to France? Jealous much!
You convinced me. And besides, if you were a coffee monster, you would be in denial, wouldn't you? And since that's absolutely not the case...
Are you going on a holiday to France?
LOL....great story...big smile before i leave for work...adieu belle dame :)
Thanks for brightening my day! Suzie. :)
Forget "Surfing the menu" or "The cars that ate Paris"...I thought maybe "Roasting (and Toasting depending?)my way through France". What a great subject for a photo book!
