Commiserations. I describe it as 'craftstipation'... you should check out all the great bloggy advice I got when I wrote on it, I sumarised it the following post, here you go: http://clutterpunk.blogspot.com/2009/06/your-top-tips-for-curing-craftstipation.htmlI've had my mojo back since!!
Oh, thanks Kylie! We must have been posting simultaneously. Why do my own plug when someone else can?!!! (Not really a plug for me, I just summarised everyone else's wisdom.)
Oh, its awful when that happens isn't it? It always feels like its never coming back, and yet, it always does. I hope yours returns swiftly. In the meantime do something else nice for yourself.
New fabric.New fabric will fix anything. It will motivate you.Honestly. Just try it.:)PS. And if it doesn't work, you have more fabric to play with when it does come back!
Catch up with some crafty friends. Talk about projects, ideas, fabrics, sewing.... sharing can lead to great things. And if nothign else, you'll have enjoyed good company and a hot drink!
Make something for someone who inspires you, that's what I do, must say I do end up making a lot of 'gifts', but it brings happiness to the other person and helps with the sewjo!
Please come back mojo - the world needs lots more chenille creations!
Oh, I lost my sewjo once after a two month holiday, took me ages to get back into it then I started visiting craft blogs and got really inspired to go again. Don't worry it'll be back, in the meantime how cute is that bunny!!!
