Flea Market finds

IMGP2942

I'm actually going to have to put myself on a self imposed op shopping ban, as it seems as though we will be moving house in a few months, and I already have enough stuff to move as it is! That's always the worry when you rent, at any time the owner can decide they want to sell and out you go. Oh well. This time we are putting a positive spin on it as this house was starting to annoy us, I just hate to move.

So this weeks flea market finds are some of the things I've been digging up out of the piles of junk stuff stashed away in my craft room. I am going to have a bit of a virtual garage sale on ebay (I have already started here, if you're interested) to make the move a little easier. I mean really, how many vintage tea towels and tablecloths does one need?! When starting off washing the linens today, I couldn't help but notice a bit of a theme in my vintage tea towel buying habits. Notice they're all Australiana? And there is more yet to be washed!

Head over to Sophie's to see who else is playing along today!

Ohhh noooo! I hate moving!
Great idea to clear some stuff out before you need to pack it up though.

lovely lovely tea towels, I wouldn't be able to resist them. Since you can sew, why not make them into grocery bags? I like your blog, it's full of lovely vintage stuff that I like, following you!

Australia must be the capital of the teatowel world, by far the majority of vintage tea towels are Australian!

I am the weird one who always enjoyed moving. It gave me the opportunity to redesign, redecorate, appreciate everything I have. I love fresh starts.
By thinning out now you will feel freer and can focus on your present tastes once you are settled.
I am temporarily grounded and am finally getting to photo some treasures from last month. This time of year there are too many wonderful things to share all in one post.

That is quite a funky collection!

Oh how I hate the whole moving thing. We've realised that it will be another year until we get to move and I'm already thinking that I need to start a virtual garage sale of my own - I have just way to much stuff!
