my creative space...

My creative space this week has been all about the finishes. Finally finished my pattern testing for Jodie (I am sooo sorry I took so long!!) and finished one of my submissions for the Ipswich Show's creative crafts section.

This one is for the handmade bear section. I hope the bear purists don't mind my interpretation of the handmade bear. This one is being quite shy too. Normally they tell me their name during construction, but this one..... Any suggestions?

The shell on Ernst the turtle just kills me! It's sooo cute!

Home of my creative space, over here.

edited to add: "Posie" it is! Thanks heaps to Kylie for coming up with that name, I think it's perfect!

Ha ha! I was going to say Sally for the bear!

Love Ernst too.

Might have to get me to the Ipswich show and check out all the bears I think.

Well you have me stumped on the bear's name too. Funny how names of creatures usually just make themselves apparent (usually!). I had a little chuckle over the turtles shell too - that Jodie - such a sense of humour.

Those chenille teddies are absoloutley gorgeous. I adore them! I hope you win, but (not wanting to be negative, it may be a bit different in your area) sometimes the women in their twilight years who are running the show can be a little bit less than generous. Is that PC enough? Hope it doesn't offend anyone. How about Walter?

Well I was going the other direction to everyone else; I thought the bear looked like a “Posie” to me. I do agree with the masses that Ernest is just adorable! Good Luck at the show, I shall pop by and say hi to your bear.
