Flea Market finds
Joining in again with Sophie's Flea Market Finds. I have been seeing a lot of vintage tins around lately, and it reminded me of all my tins. They are scattered throughout the house, so they often get forgotten about. I have a bit of a rule about buying vintage tins. Never pay more than $4.00. I have got all these from various op shops and the large rectangle one at the back I got from my local flea market. The one and only time I have been actually. For a whole $3.00. Bargain.

Oh I just love your tin collection! They are so useful, I'm always on the look out for unusual tins. Thanks for playing along.

What a gorgeous collection! I just adore that strawberry one. I am on the hunt for a large, beautiful tin to keep cakes in.
Wow, I love them all!
i am a tin hoarder aswell & I wish I could stumble upon a big cake tin like Kate.
There's something about old tins, isn't there? Just gorgeous :) K
YAY i love tins too..you've got a nice collection alright :)
Lovely collection!
They are all so pretty. Good rule - I ahve seen some very expensive tins around the place. When I see old tins like this, I always wonder what was in them and if they were used to house someones button collection at some point!
I'm a bit of a tin lover too.... Great find at the flea market... There's a really great op-shop at Ungary in NSW that you can pick ooddles of old tins up for 0.50 cents each... Really worth a look if you are ever in that area..

Hi Selina! I gave my daughter the little horse needle case you made, for her birthday on Saturday. She absolutely loves it thank you. I like the ribbon and button fastener, never thought to do that.
I miss flee markets! I love hunting through piles of bits and pieces to come across hidden treasures... In Madrid the opportunity is rare not like say in Melbourne :)
Your collection is so soft and girlie ... and what a bargain. What do you use them for?
I love the old tins and bottles you can find second hand
